STEMpowerkids creates and delivers monthly Science, Technology, Engineering and Math activity kits for children ages 3-8.
Flashstarts 2014 startup team STEMpowerkids has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.com this past Monday. The goal of the campaign is to raise $10,000 to fund the professional manufacturing of the first three activity kits (or STEMpowerPacks!) in STEMpowerkids’ curriculum. An animated, educational series and learning apps are on their way.
STEMpowerkids has a mission to educate, inspire, and empower children in science, tech, engineering, and math (STEM). Founded by Fulbright scholar/lawyer Addisah Sherwood-Ajiboye and her husband neural engineer Bolu Ajiboye, STEMpowerkids was created to help parents and caretakers help their children learn STEM in their homes in fun and easy ways.
