When it comes to start-ups, continual development is essential. Hot off the heals of the 2015 Flashstarts Accelerator, Windrush has been chosen for the highly competitive Manhattan-based Techstars Fintech accelerator, which is sponsored by Barclays.

Hopeful companies from around the world applied to the 13 week program, which offers world-class mentors and up to $120,000 in investment from Techstars. Windrush was one of ten elite companies to be selected for the 2016 class.

Windrush boasts a disruptive technology that is a data-driven document builder and web publishing tool capable of transforming data into attractive and interactive online reports. The platform is user friendly and saves companies the expense of having to hire a designer or programmer.

The company was founded by 2013 Skidmore College alums Riley Alsman, Max Walker, and Cleveland native Mark Morrison, who had a vision of helping organizations convey information in a clear and compelling way. Since their participation with Flashstarts, Windrush has raised significant initial funding and has had a growing number of clients purchase their services.

Commenting on the company’s recent good news, Walker stated, “Being selected for Techstars FinTech accelerator is an important next step for Windrush. It will provide us not only with extremely valuable mentorship, a substantial investment, and access to world-class clients, it’s our opportunity to launch Windrush on the national and international stage.”

Windrush follows in the footsteps of another Flashstarts company, Remesh, who participated in the 2015 Techstars accelerator. Both of these companies show incredible potential, which is backed by their acceptance into this prestigious program.
